Common use of TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT IN HIGHER CLASSIFICATION Clause in Contracts

TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT IN HIGHER CLASSIFICATION. A support employee temporarily assigned to a higher paying position for more than seven (7) consecutive days will be paid the higher rate retroactive to day one (1) of the assignment until the temporary assignment ends. The employee will be placed on the new grade and step with a minimum increase of 6% to the overall hourly salary.
