Temporary Hazard Pay Sample Clauses

The Temporary Hazard Pay clause establishes additional compensation for employees who are required to work under hazardous or dangerous conditions for a limited period. Typically, this clause specifies the circumstances that qualify as hazardous, the duration for which the extra pay applies, and the rate or method of calculating the additional compensation. Its core function is to fairly compensate employees for increased risks during specific assignments, thereby incentivizing necessary work in challenging environments and addressing concerns about workplace safety and equity.
