TEMPORARY WATER. A. The Contractor shall provide temporary lines for all water required during the Project and shall make arrangements with the Owner's Administrative Facilities and Campus Operations Department for water service. This shall include all means of conveying and the necessary metering devices. In lieu of temporary connections, with the Owner’s approval, the Contractor may make permanent connections and such may serve for the construction period.
B. In the event water is not available at the Site from the Owner's existing distribution system, the Contractor shall negotiate with the local distributor for water and pay all fees and rates required by the local water utility.
TEMPORARY WATER. A. The Contractor shall make arrangements with the Owner for water as required during the performance of the Work.
B. The Owner shall be responsible for the cost of the water supply.
C. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing hoses necessary for conveyance.
TEMPORARY WATER. The Contractor shall provide temporary water. Hydrant meters must be acquired from the City of Dahlonega and installed prior to usage of hydrants.

TEMPORARY WATER. (a) Contractor shall provide, install and maintain a temporary water system, including, if necessary, temporary water meters, water lines, valves, fittings, pumps and all other appurtenances, all of such size and capacity as to adequately supply the needs of Contractor under the Contract. Contractor shall make the necessary arrangements with the local water supply utility for connecting to the water mains and to insure an adequate source of supply. Contractor shall provide temporary power for pumps, if required, for the temporary water service. Contractor shall pay for all water used.
(b) Temporary water risers shall be installed in readily accessible locations and shall have outlets at each floor to facilitate the Work under the Contract. All temporary lines shall be protected against freezing if required.
(c) Contractor shall provide and maintain suitable sanitary drinking water facilities for use of all persons working at the Job Site.
(d) HFC may permit the use of permanent water and waste facilities. If such use is permitted, the permanent facilities shall be turned over to HFC in perfect condition.
(e) Contractor shall keep waste lines free of debris and shall remove all obstructions which may occur and shall be responsible for any damages caused by leaky, defective or broken water and waste piping, connections, or other fixtures and appurtenances installed by Contractor. When directed by HFC, Contractor shall remove all temporary water facilities.
TEMPORARY WATER. The Design-Build Entity will provide, maintain, and pay for all required potable water required for construction field personnel as well as water required for and in connection with the construction operations such as dust control. Unnecessary waste of water will not be permitted. The Design-Build Entity must use special hydrant wrenches for opening and closing fire hydrants in lieu of pipe wrenches.
TEMPORARY WATER. 6.4.1. Temporary water for construction purposes shall be provided the mechanical subcontractor.
6.4.2. Subcontractor is responsible to provide hoses as needed for its Work. Hoses shall be hung off the ground and floors and labeled with Subcontractor’s name at each connection point.
6.4.3. Subcontractor shall shut off hose bibs after use. Pressurized hoses shall not be left unattended at any time.
6.4.4. Subcontractor shall provide drinking water for its employees.
TEMPORARY WATER. A. Provide water for construction and potable purposes; pay all costs for installation, maintenance and removal.
B. Make conservative use of water.
C. All connections to hydrants to be made by Owner's personnel.
D. Non-potable water for general construction purposes shall be clean, non-turbid, and non-saline; and acceptable to the Project Manager.
E. Water utilization for concrete plaster and mortar shall meet the respective requirements and standards set forth for water utilized in these construction materials.
F. The Owner will make water available at designated hydrants on the Owner's water system for use by the Contractor. Contractor to pay for temporary water main and consumption during construction.
TEMPORARY WATER. A. Provide water required for construction purposes.
B. Water from the San Xxxx River will be available for earthwork operations at a point near the Headworks or at the Sluice Channel.
C. Use water which meets specified requirements for water used in concrete, soil-cement, masonry, grouting, and other permanent work.
D. Provide means of conveying water to points of use.
TEMPORARY WATER. Contractor shall provide sufficient hose to carry water to every required part of 48 construction and allow use of water facilities to Subcontractors engaged in Work. Contractor is also 49 responsible for the removal of the temporary water. Existing water outlets may be utilized if permitted by 50 the District and authorized by the District Representative. Any additional water required shall be provided 51 by the Contractor. 52
