Term of Appointment of a Department Head. 6.5.1 The term of appointment is for a 12 (twelve) month probationary period. Upon successful completion which will include in part input from the instructors within the department of the probationary period, on recommendation of the appropriate Xxxx of Instruction/Manager, the appointee will normally be confirmed for an additional period of up to 2 (two) years.
