Term of Appointment. 2.1 The Appointment shall commence on the Commencement Date and shall continue, subject to the remaining terms of this agreement, until terminated by either party giving the other not less than three months’ prior notice in writing.

Term of Appointment. A regular appointment is made for a term of up to five years. When a vacancy exists, either because there is no incumbent or because the incumbent is temporarily absent, the University may make an acting appointment for a period of not more than twelve months.

Term of Appointment. Committee members and alternates shall serve for a three (3) year term, unless replaced at the discretion of the appointing party. Recognizing the need for stability, each of the parties and participating groups agree, to the extent practicable, to maintain the same representatives and alternates for the term of this Agreement.
