Common use of Term of Contract; Contract Extension Clause in Contracts

Term of Contract; Contract Extension. The Contract is effective upon its approval as to form by the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Connecticut (the “Effective Date”), as evidenced by its signature below and will continue for two (2) years from the Effective Date. Upon mutual agreement by both parties, the parties may extend this Contract beyond the original contract period. For the avoidance of doubt, in the event either party wishes to extend this Contract in accordance with the foregoing sentence and the parties cannot mutually agree on pricing terms for the extended term prior to the expiration of the then-current term, the Contract shall terminate upon the expiration of the then-current term.
