Common use of Term Clause in Contracts

Term. This Agreement will be effective on the Effective Date and will continue for (1) one year (the “Initial Term”). Provided that Customer is not in default under this Agreement, this Agreement will automatically renew for successive one-year periods (the Initial Term and any successive periods will be referred to as the “Term”) unless either Party gives the other Party written notice of intent not to renew this Agreement at least sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the Initial Term, or the then existing renewal period, subject, however, to termination under Section 4.2

Term.
