TERMINATION AND LAYOFF PROVISIONS. Ten (10) working days notice shall be required of the Employer in cases of lay off and termination due to routine performance deficiencies. The Employer may pay ten (10) working days in lieu of notice. The Employer is not obliged to give such notice in any case where the employee is discharged for just cause. Ten (10) working days written notice shall be required of the employee upon resignation. The employee shall forfeit any accrued vacation pay, in lieu of such notice.
