Common use of Termination for Convenience Clause in Contracts

Termination for Convenience. 5.2.1 Notwithstanding any other provision of the CONTRACT, COUNTY may at any time, and without cause, terminate this CONTRACT in whole or in part, upon not less than seven (7) calendar days’ written notice to the A-E. Such termination shall be effected by delivery to the A-E of a notice of termination specifying the effective date of the termination and the extent of the Work to be terminated.
