Common use of Termination of Shift Clause in Contracts

Termination of Shift. Due to the termination of a shift without notice to the employees on the shift, all employees at work will receive pay equivalent to the employee’s actual hours worked prior to the termination of the shift or four (4) hours’ pay, whichever is greater. The termination of a shift in progress will be at the discretion of the Plant Manager or her/his representative.
