Common use of Termination of Stop Work Order Clause in Contracts

Termination of Stop Work Order. If a stop work order is not canceled and the work covered by such order is terminated, the CONTRACTOR may be paid for services rendered prior to the Termination. In addition to payment for services rendered prior to the date of termination, the COMMISSION shall be liable only for the costs, fees, and expenses for demobilization and close out of this CONTRACT, based on actual time and expenses incurred by the CONTRACTOR in the packaging and shipment of all documents covered by this CONTRACT to the COMMISSION. In no event shall the COMMISSION be liable for lost profits or other consequential damages.
