Management and Staff. Management and Staff. 11.1 The proper and reasonable fees, costs, charges, expenses and disbursements (including irrecoverable VAT) of any person properly employed or retained by the Landlord for or in connection with surveying or accounting functions or the performance of the Estate Services and any other duties in and about the Estate relating to the general management, administration, security, maintenance, protection and cleanliness of the Estate:
11.2 Management costs fees and disbursements in respect of the Estate of 10% of the Service Cost (excluding costs under this clause 11.2).
11.3 Providing staff in connection with the Estate Services and the general management, operation and security of the Estate and all other incidental expenditure including but not limited to:
11.3.1 salaries, National Health Insurance, pension and other payments contributions and benefits;
11.3.2 uniforms, special clothing, tools and other materials for the proper performance of the duties of any such staff;
11.3.3 providing premises and accommodation and other facilities for staff.

Management and Staff. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇ College shall staff the Bookstores with experienced and qualified managerial and customer service personnel. During peak “rush” periods, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇ College shall utilize sufficient additional employees at the Bookstores to avoid unnecessary lines and to expedite making educational materials available to students. College of the Sequoias Bookstore personnel shall continue service only so long as their work and personal behavior are acceptable to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇ College and College of the Sequoias. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇ College will comply with written requests by College of the Sequoias to remove or reassign store personnel for good cause.
Management and Staff. (1) CI’s organizational structure, management and staffing shall be guided by the following objectives:
(a) adherence to the principles of equal ownership, regionality, fairness and balance;
(b) enhancement of the effectiveness and efficiency of CI operations;
(c) development of CI’s capacity for long-term sustainability and effectiveness; and
(d) balance in the representation of countries.
(a) The recruitment and selection of candidates for Management and staff positions shall follow sound international practices that are transparent, fair, based on merit, and without discrimination on account of gender, race or religious beliefs.
(b) In appointing international staff, the Director shall, subject to the paramount importance of securing the highest standards of efficiency and of technical competence, pay due regard to recruitment of professional staff broadly from CI Member Countries.
(c) The Governing Council shall establish mechanisms and policies that implement these principles.
(3). The Governing Council shall appoint a Director and two Deputy Directors, to serve as the management of CI (“Management”), who shall hold office on such terms as are determined by the Governing Council.
(4). Management shall, unless directed otherwise by the Governing Council, participate in the meetings of the Governing Council without decision-making rights.
(5). The Director shall:
(a) be accountable to the Governing Council and subject to its general control;
(b) be the chief of CI and, unless the Governing Council decides otherwise, be responsible for the organisation of staff and overall performance of CI;
(c) be the legal representative of CI and conduct the current business of CI;
(d) submit to the Governing Council an annual report;
(e) serve as secretary of the Governing Council; and
(f) submit to the Governing Council a plan of the staffing levels, annual budget, and annual and medium term work programme of CI for review and approval.
(6). The Management and staff shall, in the discharge of their functions, owe their duty entirely to CI and to no other authority. CI Member Countries shall respect the international character of this duty and shall refrain from all attempts to influence any of the Management or staff in the discharge of their functions.

a) Bookstore personnel shall continue service only so long as their work and personal behavior are acceptable to USF and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & Noble. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇ will comply with written requests by USF to remove or reassign store personnel for good cause. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & Noble will not discriminate against any employee or applicant because of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. Such action shall be taken with reference, but not limited to recruitment, employment, job assignment, promotion, upgrading, demotion, transfer, layoff or termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation and selection for training. All solicitation or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇ will state that all qualified applicants will be afforded equal employment opportunities without discrimination.
b) All Bookstore staff presently working for USF will be given first consideration for employment with ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & Noble at the Bookstore.
c) Assignment of management personnel must be approved in writing by USF and no changes in management personnel will be made without prior consultation and the written consent of USF. Management personnel are defined as the general manager of the Bookstore, and associate or assistant manager, and department managers. USF may also be consulted and advised prior to changing management personnel at lower levels. USF reserves the right to review and reject any person who it deems for any reason unsatisfactory in training, experience or performance and to participate in the annual employee review and evaluation of the general manager of the Bookstore.
d) ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇ will reimburse USF for wages and benefits paid to all full-time Bookstore employees who remain on the university payroll for the period of July 14, 2003 through September 15, 2003. During this period, said employees will operate under the rules and regulations of university employees. At the conclusion of this period, those hired will participate in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & Noble benefits package. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇ guarantees an additional 60 days of employment to meet the proposed 120-day grace period.
