Territories. The conference agreement provides federal assistance to territories, which establish a plan to provide transitional assistance for covered discount drugs to some or all eligible persons residing in the state. Eligible persons are those entitled to benefits under Part A or enrolled in Part B with incomes below 135% of the poverty line. The total amount of available federal assistance is $35 million.
