The City Council Sample Clauses

The City Council sitting as a quasi-judicial body, shall review the entire record (including but not limited to the appellant’s appeal, the City Manager’s decision, and the Hearing Officer’s recommendation) for conformance with City policy prior to rendering its decision. The review meeting shall be conducted in closed session. At the conclusion of the review meeting, the City Council shall render its decision to accept, reject or modify the Hearing Officer’s final recommendation. The City Council shall notify the appellant of its decision in writing within 10 days after the meeting. The decision of the City Council shall be final.

  • School District For purposes of administering this Agreement, the term "School District" shall mean the School Board or its designated representative.

  • State of Texas Franchise Tax By signature hereon, Vendor hereby certifies that Vendor is not currently delinquent in the payment of any franchise taxes owed to the State of Texas under Chapter 171 of the Texas Tax Code.
