Common use of The Construction (Design and Management Clause in Contracts

The Construction (Design and Management. Regulations 1994 8.16.1 In this clause Regulations means the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 and File means the Health and Safety file for the Premises and works carried out to them, required by the Regulations. 8.16.2 In respect of any works carried out by or on behalf of the Tenant or any undertenant or other occupier of the Premises (including any works of reinstatement which may be carried out after the end of the Term) to which the Regulations apply, to: (a) comply in all respects with the Regulations and procure that any person involved in carrying out such works complies with the Regulations; and (b) act as the client in respect of those works and serve a declaration to that effect on the Health and Safety Executive pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Regulations and give a copy of it to the Landlord.
