Common use of The Contractor Clause in Contracts

The Contractor. 10.1.1. must not pass on any information obtained during or in connection with the performance of the Contract, except where necessary for the performance of the Contract or where authorised; 10.1.2. must not contravene the Official Secrets Acts 1911 to 1989; 10.1.3. must familiarise itself with these Acts and take all reasonable steps to ensure that its suppliers and its and their employees and agents are familiar with them; and 10.1.4. must take all reasonable steps to ensure that these people comply with sub-Clauses 10.1.1 and 10.1.2 above.
