Common use of The General Inspectorate Clause in Contracts

The General Inspectorate. Under the authority of the Director-General, the General Inspectorate of Police shall be responsible for monitoring and supervising the activities of the operational services of the force. The Inspector General shall be appointed by the Director-General, in consultation with the Attorney-General of the Republic and the National Counsel for the Defence of Human Rights. The General Inspectorate shall comprise a Monitoring Division, which shall have the function of monitoring all police services, and a Disciplinary Investigation Division, which shall have the function of investigating breaches of discipline by police officers.
