The Line Information Database. (LIDB) Query Response Service is a validation database system. It enables Requesting Carrier to offer alternatively billed services to its Customers. The database provides an efficient way to validate calling cards and toll billing exception (TBE) (i.e., restricts a collect or third-party billed call). Toll fraud protection and reduced call set up expenses are among the benefits of the service.
