THE PURCHASER’S RESPONSIBILITIES. 7.1 The Purchaser must keep the Service Provider informed about information necessary to fulfil the work of quality assure and handle the commercial contacts with the suppliers. Any changes of capacity or product pre-requisites must immediately be communicated to the Service Providers assigned functions. 7.2 Polestar is responsible to participate in SCM and SCC meetings for Polestar Technology components or to delegate, in written in front of the SCM, the decision to Volvo. Polestar may be invited to be present in Supplier Choice meetings for Volvo Technology components. 7.3 Polestar is responsible to provide approved funding of tooling investments and other expenses (related to claims, technical support, capacity requests etc) for full [***] in front of negotiations with suppliers. 7.4 Polestar will always be ultimately responsible for the Purchase Orders placed in Polestars name (i.e. payments, volume). 7.5 Polestar will keep a Power of Attorney updated and available for each of Volvo Cars legal entities to act on Polestars behalf. The purpose is to avoid any confusion towards suppliers and clarify that Volvo Cars has the authority to deliver the direct material procurement for Polestar. 7.6 Polestar will need to sign supplier agreements and attachments for Polestar Technology according to Polestar Delegation of Authority. If requested, Volvo Cars will use Polestar templates when acting on Polestars behalf.
