THE RELEVANT PARTIES. A. The City is a municipal corporation and charter city organized and operating under the laws of the State of California. B. The Authority is a public body, corporate and politic formed, organized, existing, and exercising its powers pursuant to the California Housing Authorities Law, Health and Safety Code, Section 34200, et seq., and has been authorized to transact business pursuant to action of the City Council of the City. Authority is and shall remain as a separate public body, corporate and politic, exercising governmental functions and performing a public function of the City. C. The Successor Agency to the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (“Successor Agency”) is a public entity corporate and politic, organized and operating under Part 1.85 of Division 24 of the Dissolution Act (as defined in recital E. below). D. The Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (“former Agency”) previously was a California public body, corporate and politic, duly formed by the City Council of the City (“City Council”) and organized, existing and exercising the powers of a community redevelopment agency under the California Community Redevelopment Law, Health & Safety Code Section 33000, et seq.
