Thrust and Anchor Blocks. ‌ Concrete thrust and anchor blocks shall be formed at bends, tees and valves in accordance with the details shown on the Drawings or as directed by the Engineer. Excavation shall be made after pipelaying, and the blocks concreted immediately after excavation. The back of supports and blocks shall abut on to solid ground with all loose material being removed before concreting. No pressure shall be applied in any section of main until the concrete has achieved adequate strength and at least three day’s curing. Flexible joints shall not normally be cast in. Where the size of the block does not make this possible, additional flexible joints shall be provided no greater than half a pipe diameter beyond each face of the block.

Thrust and Anchor Blocks. If a thrust or anchor block is required to be installed the Requisitioner is not to interfere with completed work or to excavate or backfill around or above any thrust or anchor block without ensuring that the concrete and structure of such is sufficiently and fully set to SWS‟s satisfaction. Details of the required positioning of any thrust and/or anchor blocks are to be agreed between the Requisitioner and SWS to ensure that minimal disturbance to the existing ground can be managed.

  • Underground Facilities All underground pipelines, conduits, ducts, cables, wires, manholes, vaults, tanks, tunnels, or other such facilities or attachments, and any encasements containing such facilities, including without limitation those that convey electricity, gases, steam, liquid petroleum products, telephone or other communications, cable television, water, wastewater, storm water, other liquids or chemicals, or traffic or other control systems.

  • COSTS DISTRIBUTED THROUGH COUNTYWIDE COST ALLOCATIONS The indirect overhead and support service costs listed in Schedule A (attached) are formally approved as actual costs for the 2012-13 fiscal year and as estimated costs for the 2014-15 fiscal year on a "fixed with carry-forward" basis. These costs may be included as part of the costs of the county departments indicated effective July 1, 2014, for further allocation to federal grants and contracts performed by the respective county departments.

  • Non-Synchronous Generation The Interconnection Customer shall design its Small Generating Facility to maintain a composite power delivery at continuous rated power output at the high-side of the generator substation at a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, unless the NYISO or the Transmission Owner in whose Transmission District the Small Generating Facility interconnects has established a different power factor range that applies to all similarly situated non-synchronous generators in the control area or Transmission District (as applicable) on a comparable basis, in accordance with Good Utility Practice. This power factor range standard shall be dynamic and can be met using, for example, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors, or a combination of the two. This requirement shall only apply to newly interconnecting non-synchronous generators that have not yet executed a Facilities Study Agreement as of September 21, 2016.

  • PRICING STRUCTURES Licenses and Support Services for the Licensed Programs to which this OST applies are granted according to the pricing structures mentioned in the related Transaction Document. Standard pricing structures are defined in the section “DEFINITIONS” of this OST, even though those pricing structures may not be applicable to the DS Offerings to which this OST applies. Other pricing structures may be made available on a case-by-case basis.

  • Power System Stabilizers The Developer shall procure, install, maintain and operate Power System Stabilizers in accordance with the requirements identified in the Interconnection Studies conducted for Developer’s Large Generating Facility. NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner reserve the right to reasonably establish minimum acceptable settings for any installed Power System Stabilizers, subject to the design and operating limitations of the Large Generating Facility. If the Large Generating Facility’s Power System Stabilizers are removed from service or not capable of automatic operation, the Developer shall immediately notify the Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO. The requirements of this paragraph shall not apply to wind generators.
