Time Limit for Filing Appeal. An appeal must be filed within ten (10) school days either (1) after the day the aggrieved party was informed of the decision from which appeal is taken, or (2) after the last day of the period within which he or she was required to be informed of the decision, if he or she was not informed thereof within that period, whichever is later.

Time Limit for Filing Appeal. This board will not hear an appeal unless the parent or guardian files written notice of appeal with the County Superintendent of Schools within 30 calendar days of the earlier of the following: A. The date on which a school board fails or refuses to enter into an interdistrict attendance agreement for the child in questions; or, if earlier, B. The date on which a school board fails or refuses to issue a permit pursuant to an existing agreement approved by the district.

  • Notice of Appeal In the event that an employee who has been laid off out of seniority order believes the decision based upon performance and/or qualifications is incorrect, the employee may request that the Association appeal the Sheriff’s determination. If the Association finds there is good reason to believe that the Sheriff has erred in his decision, it may appeal through the process set forth in this Article.
