Time Limit for Initiating Grievance. A. No grievance shall be recognized by the Board or SAAAAC unless it shall have been presented at the appropriate level within fifteen (15) duty days after the aggrieved person knew or should have known, of the act or condition on which the grievance is based, and if not so presented, the grievance will be considered as waived. B. The time limit for either party’s responding in writing shall have been met if the reply was hand- delivered or post-marked or received by electronic communication by the last day of the period indicated. The timelines for this process may be extended by the mutual agreement of the parties.
