Time Limit for Requesting Arbitration. Unless both parties agree to by-pass one or more of the steps, the entire grievance procedure must be exhausted before going to arbitration. Arbitration must be requested in writing within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the date the decision was rendered at the last step of the grievance procedure.

Arbitration must be requested in writing within twenty-one thirty (2130) calendar days from the date the decision was rendered at the last step of the grievance procedure. The date of the response from management shall not count as a day for time limit purposes.
