TIME OFF FOR URGENT AND PRIVATE BUSINESS. In normal circumstances time off to attend to urgent, private matters should be taken from accumulated vacation leave, but in extra-ordinary circumstances where there is no accumulated leave, the Employer may agree to give time off not exceeding five (5) days in any one year without loss of pay.
