Timeline During Evaluation Year. 10.4.4.1 Before the Goal-Setting Conference, unit member attends Orientation for teacher evaluation and submits written Self-Assessment to evaluator.
10.4.4.2 By October 1: Goal Setting Conference with evaluator to discuss: the unit member's Self-Assessment, the standards used in the evaluation, the multiple measures to be used for determining student progress, the evidence to be used by the unit member and the evaluator for various components of the process, and the areas of emphasis for professional growth. Both individuals will make a good faith effort to reach agreement on these matters. By mutual agreement, this process, which includes goal setting,may be set in the prior spring.
Timeline During Evaluation Year. 10.6.7.1 By September 20, Before the Goal-Setting Conference, the Joint Committee on Teacher Evaluation and Human Resources will hold a teacher evaluation orientation, at which unit member attendance is voluntary.
10.6.7.2 Before the Goal-Setting Conference, the unit member will submit written Self-Assessment form (Form 1.2 in Appendix C2) to the evaluator.
