Timely Retirement. When an employee realizes he/she is retiring or resigning from MPS, he/she must notify the district prior to fifteen (15) days after the first Monday in June with an irrevocable resignation effective no later than August 1 of the same year. It is suggested that you notify teacher retirement ninety (90) days before July 1st.
