Common use of Tobacco Cessation Clause in Contracts

Tobacco Cessation. Contractor shall provide Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate tobacco dependence Assessments and cessation intervention, treatment, and counseling services. Such services must be provided on a systematic and on-going basis that is consistent with recommendations listed in the Tobacco Cessation standards located at: xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx/oha/PH/PREVENTIONWELLNESS/TOBACCOPREVENTION/Docum ents/tob_cessation_coverage_standards.pdf. Contractor shall make these services available to all Members assessed to use tobacco products including smokeless, dissolvable, electronic vapor, pipes, and cigars. Contractor shall establish a systematic mechanism to document and report dependency and cessation services. Contractor may refer to accepted published Evidence-Based Community Standards, the national standard, or as set forth under OAR 410-130-0190.
