Common use of TOOL PROTECTION Clause in Contracts

TOOL PROTECTION. The Employees will remove the tools from the job site each night. The employee shall exercise the same responsibility for the Contractor’s tools as he does his own. When in the care of the employer should an employee’s tools as listed herein be stolen as a result of forcible entry, or destroyed by fire, or lost or damaged in transportation by the Contractor, the Contractor shall compensate the employee for the value of the tools.
