TPO to operate pursuant to law. In the event that any election, referendum, approval, permit, notice, other proceeding or authorization is required under applicable law to undertake any power, duty, or responsibility hereunder, or to observe, assume, or carry out any of the provisions of this Interlocal Agreement, the TPO will, to the extent of its legal capacity, comply with all applicable laws and requirements.

  • Pursuant to O C.G.A. § 13-10-91, Contractor represents, warrants, acknowledges, and/or agrees that: The Contractor has registered and participates in a federal work authorization program to verify the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees; Subcontractors shall not enter into any contract with the Contractor for the physical performance of services within the State of Georgia unless such subcontractor registers and participates in a federal work authorization program to verify the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees; and Sub-subcontractors shall not enter into any contract with a subcontractor or sub- subcontractor for the physical performance of services within the State of Georgia unless such sub-subcontractor registers and participates in a federal work authorization program to verify the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees.

  • Pursuant to I C. 22-9-1-10 and the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the LPA, shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment, to be employed in the performance of work under this Contract, with respect to hire, tenure, terms, conditions or privileges of employment or any matter directly or indirectly related to employment, because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry or status as a veteran. Breach of this covenant may be regarded as a material breach of this Contract.
