Traffic Diversion. 91.1 The Contractor shall include the necessary safety procedures regarding and pedestrian traffic diversion that is needed in execution of the works. The Contractor shall include in his costing of works, any temporary works or diversion that are needed during the construction period. All traffic diversion should be designed for the safety of both the motoring public and the men at work. It shall ensure the uninterrupted flow of traffic and minimum inconvenience to the public during the period concerned. As such, adequate warning signs, flagmen and other relevant safety precautionary measures shall be provided to warn motorists and pedestrians well ahead of the intended diversion as directed by the Project Manager. All traffic devices used shall be designed in accordance with the instruction of Project Manager.

Traffic Diversion. The Contractor shall ensure that the Traffic Movement during the Construction of the Works is properly diverted, maintained and obstruction to the Traffic Movement is kept to the minimum. The Traffic Diversion with all Cost of Men and Material is to form part of the Turn Key Lump Sum Contract. The Traffic Diversion shall include but not be limited to the following. • Prepare Traffic Diversion Plan for different Phases of Construction and got approved from the concerned Police Department by the Contractor. • All Necessary Arrangements required for Diversion of Traffic, Erection of Sign Boards, Cautionary Boards and Illumination, etc. • Provide Road Markings, Drainage System, Footpath for the Diversion Roads. • Provide Skilled Flagmen for Traffic Diversion as per the Requirement of Concerned Department. • Provide Traffic Barricades with Blinkers, Reflective Tapes, Road Delineators, Traffic Cones, Portable Signages, Reflective Lights and other necessary Traffic Signage as required, as directed by the Concerned Authorities and as per the Specification. • Provide required Sub Grade and Surface Treatments for the Diversion Roads based on IRC Standards before Traffic Diversion and maintain for the Smooth Flow of Traffic throughout the Construction Period as directed by the Employer. • After Completion of the Work, the Diversion Roads are to be rehabilitated as per IRC Standards and provided with 40mm Bituminous Concrete irrespective of other Treatments provided earlier during Pre Construction and Construction Period of the Work. • It is the responsibility of the Contractor to work out the actual Traffic Diversion Schedule in concurrence with the Requirements of the Concerned Department and execute the same during different phases of Construction. • Pedestrian Facilities shall be provided for Diverted Roads and the Plan for Pedestrian Facilities shall be got approved from the concerned Police Department by the Contractor.
Traffic Diversion. ‌ 8.10.01 The Tenant acknowledges that the success of the Airport, and income of the Landlord therefrom are dependent upon the actual volume of Airport Passengers and the actual volume of air cargo traffic at the Airport. [NTD: Revised by Am#4.] 8.10.03 Where the Tenant contravenes the provision of Subsection 8.10.02 then, in addition to any other right of remedy available to the Landlord under this Lease or at law, the Landlord may, at Her option, do one of more of the following: (a) require all the revenue that would have been derived had such diversion not occurred to be added to Gross Revenue for the purposes of computing Airport Revenue as though such foregone revenue had actually been derived from the use of the Demised Premises and all relevant provisions of this Lease shall be applicable thereto; for greater certainty the Landlord shall have the same rights of inspection and audit with respect to the above foregone revenue; (b) apply for an injunction from any court of competent jurisdiction restraining the Tenant from breaching the provisions of Subsection 8.10.02. 8.10.04 In the event the Landlord applies for an injunction restraining the Tenant from breaching the provisions of Subsection 8.10.02, the Tenant hereby consents to any such application for injunctive relief.‌

  • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.

  • Human Trafficking BY ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT, CONTRACTOR ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE COUNTY IS OPPOSED TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND THAT NO COUNTY FUNDS WILL BE USED IN SUPPORT OF SERVICES OR ACTIVITIES THAT VIOLATE HUMAN TRAFFICKING LAWS.

  • Traffic Management 9.2.1 During the Operating Period, Developer shall be responsible for the general management of traffic on the Project. Developer shall manage traffic so as to preserve and protect safety of traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities and, to the maximum extent practicable, to avoid disruption, interruption or other adverse effects on traffic flow, throughput or level of service on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities. Developer shall conduct traffic management in accordance with all applicable Technical Provisions, Technical Documents, Laws and Governmental Approvals, and in accordance with the Traffic Management Plan. 9.2.2 Developer shall prepare and submit to TxDOT and the Independent Engineer for TxDOT approval a Traffic Management Plan for managing traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities after the commencement of traffic operations on any portion of the Project, addressing (a) orderly and safe movement and diversion of traffic on Related Transportation Facilities during Project construction, (b) orderly and safe movement of traffic on the Project and (c) orderly and safe diversion of traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities necessary in connection with field maintenance and repair work or Renewal Work or in response to Incidents, Emergencies and lane closures. Developer shall prepare the Traffic Management Plan according to the schedule set forth in the Technical Provisions. The Traffic Management Plan shall comply with the Technical Provisions and Technical Documents concerning traffic management and traffic operations. Developer shall carry out all traffic management during the Term in accordance with the approved Traffic Management Plan. 9.2.3 Developer shall implement the Traffic Management Plan to promote safe and efficient operation of the Project and Related Transportation Facilities at all times during the course of any construction or operation of the Project and during the Utility Adjustment Work. 9.2.4 TxDOT shall have at all times, without obligation or liability to Developer, the right 9.2.4.1 Issue Directive Letters to Developer regarding traffic management 9.2.4.2 Provide on the Project, via message signs or other means consistent with Good Industry Practice, non-Discriminatory traveler and driver information, and other public information (e.g. amber alerts), provided that the means to disseminate such information does not materially interfere with the functioning of the ETCS.
