Trainee Assistant. Sound Editor (TASE) (a) The TASE assists the Assistant Editors. (b) The TASE is a training role, as the name indicates, and is filled by a DGC Member or Apprentice Member. (c) The demands placed on a Trainee should be reasonable; a Trainee’s purpose in the editing room is to be trained. (d) May also be referred to or credited as the Post Production Assistant.
