Common use of Transaction of Business Clause in Contracts

Transaction of Business. The transaction of any business by Union representatives, shop stewards or other agents shall be conducted in an appropriate location (i.e., areas other than patient care areas) and shall not interfere with the Employer’s business or the work of employees. The transaction of Union business shall be on the employee’s own time, except when the Employer or an employee calls in a shop xxxxxxx during the xxxxxxx’x working hours to be present for an investigative or disciplinary meeting and the shop xxxxxxx has obtained approval from his or her supervisor.
