Common use of Transfer of personal data to the United States Clause in Contracts

Transfer of personal data to the United States. The Grantee acknowledges and agrees that their personal data will be transferred to the United States and that there is a risk, in particular, that the rights provided for by Swiss (and EU data protection laws, as applicable) may only be guaranteed to a limited extent and that foreign authorities, i.e. authorities of the United States may gain access to the Grantee’s personal data with or without the Grantee’s knowledge. Such access may also result in further tracking and/or observations by foreign authorities.
