Transfers Without Notice. ‌ (a) Lateral transfers or voluntary demotions may be granted, without notice under Article 11.2, for compassionate or medical grounds to permanent employees who have completed their probationary period. (b) It is understood by the parties that the employees shall not be required to transfer from one geographic location to another except on the employee's request, as follows; (1) on a temporary basis, in cases where it is unsafe for the unborn child of a pregnant employee; or (2) as per Article 31 -
