Common use of Transport/Storage Media Clause in Contracts

Transport/Storage Media. 3.1. The Contractor shall provide transport media, including packaging, pallets and labour, unless otherwise agreed with the consigning unit. In the event that the Contractor utilises the Authority’s assets (e.g. post/caged pallets), the Contractor shall ensure that they are returned within 2 months or, if lost, replaced on a like for like basis by agreement with the Authority. The Contractor shall ensure the safety of all loads transported from the disposal compound. All relevant details in respect of transport media shall be included in the Contractor’s reports for discussion at each progress meeting.

The Contractor shall ensure the safety of all loads transported from the disposal compounddepot or unit and assumes all responsibility for loading. All relevant details in respect of transport and collection media shall be included in the Contractor’s reports for discussion at each progress meeting.
