Transportation – Summer Bid Meeting and Procedures. 1.) At least one (1) week prior to the start of each school year, each driver in the Transportation classification shall be assigned the run or runs he or she had at the end of the previous school year, unless there has been a substantial change in the run. All new runs or open runs shall be posted at this bid meeting, setting forth the route(s) as listed and the appropriate length of time. Bus drivers shall be permitted to select runs on a seniority basis provided, however, the driver is qualified for the run or runs.
