Common use of Treatment by Designated Provider Clause in Contracts

Treatment by Designated Provider. A faculty member who has completed at least two (2) full academic semesters with Xxxxxxxxxx College, who is completely unable to work on account of a sickness or accident disability compensable under the Workers’ Compensation law, and who is treated for such disability by the College’s designated Workers’ Compensation provider shall be entitled to leave commencing on the first day he is unable to work on account of such disability and continuing to the first anniversary of such date. A faculty member eligible for leave under Section 6.9(B)(1) shall be remunerated for the period of such leave in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the salary the faculty member would have been paid had the faculty member worked.
