Common use of Truck Breakdown Clause in Contracts

Truck Breakdown. Delivery Personnel shall be guaranteed one-half (½) of their daily basic rate, if in the course of a work day, they are unable to perform their normal deliveries due to mechanical breakdown. If the breakdown occurs after having worked more than one-half a normal sales day then the employee will receive the daily rate on a pro-rata basis. The Company reserves the right to assign delivery personnel who experience a breakdown other duties as required.
