Common use of Trunk Group Connections and Ordering Clause in Contracts

Trunk Group Connections and Ordering. 4.2.1 Both Parties shall use a DS-1 interface at the POI unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties. Upon mutual agreement the Parties may use other types of interfaces, such as DS3 or STS-1, at the POI, where technically feasible and available. When Local Interconnection Trunks are provisioned using a DS-3 interface facility, TCA shall order the multiplexed DS-3 facilities to the Xxxxx Central Office that is designated in the NECA 4 Tariff as tandem location, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Xxxxx. Local Interconnection Trunks shall be in the appropriate Tandem subtending area based on the LERG. 4.2.2 TCA will identify its Carrier Identification Code, a three or four digit numeric code obtained from Telcordia, to Xxxxx when ordering a trunk group. 4.2.3 Unless mutually agreed to by both Parties, each Party will out pulse ten (10) digits to the other Party. 4.2.4 Each Party will use commercially reasonable efforts to monitor trunk groups under its control and to augment those groups using generally accepted trunk-engineering standards so as to not exceed blocking objectives.
