Trust Responsibility. The Secretary is prohibited from waiving, modifying, or diminishing in any way the trust responsibility of the United States with respect to Indian tribes and individual Indians that ex- ists under treaties, Executive orders, other laws, or court decisions.
Trust Responsibility. Nothing in this Agreement shall absolve the United States from any responsibility to individual Indians and the Tribe, including responsibilities derived from the trust relationship and any treaty, executive order, or agreement between the United States and the Tribe.
Trust Responsibility. (A) In general. The United States reaffirms the trust responsibility of the United States to the Cauyga Nation to protect and conserve the trust resources of the Indian tribe(s) and the trust resources of individual Indians.
Trust Responsibility. The Trust shall perform, execute, acknowledge and deliver or cause to be performed, executed, acknowledged and delivered all such further and other acts, documents, instruments and assurances as Agent may reasonably require in order to carry out or perform its obligations under this Agreement.
Trust Responsibility. (A) In general. - The Secretary, acting through Reclamation on behalf of the United States, reaffirms the trust responsibility of the United States to the Navajo Nation to protect and conserve the trust resources of the Tribe and the trust resources of individual Indians.
Trust Responsibility a. The United States has a unique legal relationship with Indian tribal governments as set forth in the Constitution of the United States, treaties, statutes, executive orders, and court decisions. Since the formation of the Union, the United States has recognized Indian tribes as domestic dependent nations under its protection. The Federal Government has enacted numerous statutes and promulgated numerous regulations that establish and define a trust relationship with Indian Tribes.
b. Our nation, under the law of the United States, in accordance with treaties, statutes, executive orders, and judicial decisions, has recognized the right of Indian tribes to self-government. As domestic dependent nations, Indian tribes exercise inherent sovereign powers over their members and territory. The United States continues to work with Indian tribes on a government-to-government basis to address issues concerning Indian tribal self-government, tribal trust resources, and Indian tribal treaty and other rights.
c. The United States recognizes the right of Indian tribes to self-government and supports tribal sovereignty and self-determination.
Trust Responsibility. Party B’s trust responsibility to Party A include: Party B shall register its own name with Party C as the shareholder of the representative shares and shall participate in relevant actions as a shareholder. Party B shall receive bonus or dividends on behalf of Party A, participate and vote in shareholders’ meetings, and exercise other rights on behalf of Party A bestowed to shareholders by China Corporate Law and Party C’s Articles of Association.
Trust Responsibility. The Trust acknowledges that, as between the Operator and the Trust, it will be responsible under this Agreement for the acts and omissions (whether negligent or not) of:-
Trust Responsibility. Nothing in this AFA waives, modifies or diminishes (a) the Community’s sovereign immunity under this agreement; and (b) the trust responsibility of the United States with respect to the Community or its members that exists under treaties, Executive Orders, and other laws.
Trust Responsibility. Trust agrees that it shall be responsible to Custodian as a principal for all of its obligations to Custodian arising under or in connection with this Agreement notwithstanding that Trust may be acting on behalf of the Funds, and Trust warrants its authority to deposit in the Custody Account any Financial Assets and funds which Custodian receives therefor and to give instructions relative thereto. Trust further agrees that Custodian shall not be subject to, nor shall its right and obligations with respect to this Agreement and the Custody Account be affected by, any agreement between Trust and any such person.
