Common use of Trustee Compensation Clause in Contracts

Trustee Compensation. Any Trustee may be compensated for his or her services as Trustee by fixed periodic payments or by fees for attendance at meetings, by both or otherwise, and in addition may be reimbursed for transportation and other expenses, all in such manner and amounts as the Board of Trustees may from time to time determine. Nothing herein shall in any way prevent the engagement or employment of any Trustee for advisory, management, legal, accounting, investment banking or other services and payment for the same by the Trust. Except to the extent expressly provided in a written agreement with the Trust, no Trustee resigning and no Trustee removed shall have any right to any compensation for any period following the effective date of his or her resignation or removal (other than compensation received by a retiring Trustee as a trustee emeritus or similar position), or any right to damages on account of such removal.
