TUITION FREE CLASSES. A Continuous Part-Time Member shall be entitled to the full benefits contemplated in Article 15 (Tuition Free Classes).

TUITION FREE CLASSES. Each Full-Time Member and each person of his/her immediate family (as defined below) shall be entitled to a reduction in tuition costs when enrolling in any of the College’s Trades and credit courses subject to the following conditions. Each eligible person: (a) is entitled to a maximum tuition reduction equal to the current student tuition cost of three credits for each term that the Member is employed up to a maximum of three terms in any one calendar year; (b) shall be responsible for all costs of supplies, materials or other direct costs, if any, that are required for the Course. (c) must use the tuition reduction within six months Each Part-Time Member or a person of his/her immediate family (as defined below) shall be entitled to one course per part-time contract, subject to the conditions described above.
TUITION FREE CLASSES. 12.1 Each Member working at least a .5 workload and each person of his/her immediate family shall be entitled to enroll in College sponsored credit courses without payment of tuition subject to the following conditions. Each eligible person: (a) Is entitled to a maximum of one three credit course waiver for each term that the Member is employed up to a maximum of three in any one calendar year; (b) shall be responsible for all costs of supplies, materials or other direct costs, if any, that are required for the Course. (c) must use the Course waiver within six months of being earned.
TUITION FREE CLASSES. 1. Employees and their families (spouse and dependent children as defined by the IRS) may attend courses at the College, which are offered at hours outside their normal working hours, without payment of tuition or fees that pay for use of College-owned materials. Costs for books, manuals, or special fees (e.g., skiing) and lab fees for Lifelong Learning classes are not eligible for reimbursement and are the responsibility of the student. All other fees are eligible for reimbursement, including registration fees, technology fees, and credit by exam fees. 2. Exceptions to the “normal working hours” limitation may be made under the following conditions: a. The class is required to fulfill the provisions of the employee’s declared curriculum. b. The class is normally not scheduled at times other than during the employee’s normal working hours. c. In the event an exception to the policy as outlined above is necessary, an employee requesting to take a class during normal working hours shall submit, in writing, a request to the immediate administrative supervisor for approval. 3. This request must include the class title, class time, days of class meeting, and a plan for completing the forty-hour (40) workweek. No portion of the normal workday for which the employee is compensated by the College may be used for the purpose of making up time. A copy of this request shall be filed with the office of the Executive Director of Human Resources. 4. The provisions of this section may be extended to the spouse and dependent children of deceased support staff members who have completed ten (10) or more years of full-time service at the College and who were either actively employed or on approved leave at the time of death. Tuition for the spouse shall be limited to five (5) years from the date of death of the employee. 5. In the event that the supervisor requires the employee to attend a College class or workshop for training purposes, the time spent is considered work time.

TUITION FREE CLASSES. XIII.1 Each Member and each person of his/her immediate family (*hereinafter referred to as "Directly Related Person") shall be entitled to enrol in College sponsored credit courses or classes (hereinafter referred to as the "Course") without payment of tuition fees (hereinafter referred to as a "Course Waiver"), subject to the following conditions: (a) each Member and Directly Related Person are entitled to a maximum of three (3) Course Waivers in any one calendar year; (b) the maximum Course Waiver available for each Member or each Directly Related Person shall be one (1) per term. (c) the Member and Directly Related Persons shall be responsible for all costs of supplies, materials or other direct costs, if any, that are required for the Course. XIII.2 In the event that the College, for any legal reasons, is unable to provide a Course Waiver for any particular Course in which the Member or Directly Related Person wishes to enrol, the College shall pay to the Member or Directly Related Person an amount of money equal to the tuition fee for the sole purpose and use of allowing that individual to enrol in the Course.
