Common use of TUITION INCENTIVE Clause in Contracts

TUITION INCENTIVE. The district shall reimburse one hundred dollars ($100) per hour of the employee’s tuition cost for up to eight credit hours per school year for each teacher to attend a university of his/her choice, provided that the total annual combined reimbursement for all teachers does not exceed $18,000 and the regulations below are followed. The term year becomes effective the summer semester of 2015. 1. Hours taken must be graduate level and meet the education goals of the district with prior approval by the building administrator and verified by the superintendent or his/her designee. 2. All hours taken must receive a final grade of “B” or better, or a pass if a pass/fail option is the only option. Evidence of course completion must be submitted before reimbursement will be made.
