Common use of Tutoring and Private Instruction Clause in Contracts

Tutoring and Private Instruction. Compensation other than the salary paid by the School District shall not be accepted for instruction given in any school building during the school day. Compensation for private instruction given at the school at other hours must be approved by the Superintendent. This policy does not apply to instruction given in the home of a pupil or a professional employee after school hours. (Professional employees should not accept payment for tutoring their own pupils.)
