Common use of TYPE OF CONDUIT Clause in Contracts

TYPE OF CONDUIT. The Contractor shall furnish and install the numbers and size of conduits as ordered. All conduit for installation underground or in concrete shall be HDPE conduit (schedule 40) and be free from blisters, cracks or injurious defects. Standard weight steel-pipe that is free from blisters, cracks or injurious defects shall be used on structures or in foundations unless otherwise directed by EIU. Steel conduit shall be coated inside and outside with a uniform thickness of zinc using the hot dip process.
