Engineering Services Definition: Engineering Services includes any service or creative work, the adequate performance of which requires education, training and experience in the application of special knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, engineering principles. Engineering Services covered by the Xxxxxx Architect-Engineers Act (40 U.S.C. 1102) are not covered in the primary scope of OASIS SB. Examples: Service areas that are included under the Engineering Services discipline include, but are not limited to the following:
Metering Equipment 13.01. Utility will furnish, install, own and maintain metering equipment capable of measuring the flow of kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy. The Customer's service associated with the CRG will be metered at a single metering point. The metering equipment will measure energy delivered by Utility to Customer and also measure energy delivered by Customer to Utility. Customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the premises for installation of this equipment and its future maintenance or removal.
Independent Engineer Contractor shall cooperate with Independent Engineer in the conduct of his or her duties in relation to the Project and the Work, including the duties listed in Attachment CC. No review, approval or disapproval by Independent Engineer shall serve to reduce or limit the liability of Contractor to Owner under this Agreement.
Compensation to Engineer A. City agrees to pay to Engineer for all services outlined in Section III, a base design fee in an amount not to exceed $254,160.00. The following services are not included in this base fee:
Cost Certification Redeveloper shall submit authentic documentation to the City on approved forms or format for payment of any expenses related to construction of the eligible Redeveloper Priority Expenses. Redeveloper shall timely submit receipts, invoices, or proof of payment concurrently with the request for reimbursement of eligible Redeveloper Priority Expenses. The City shall approve or reject the request for reimbursement with reasons stated, based on the review within ten (10) business days of receipt of the same. The foregoing notwithstanding, the City reserves the right during said ten (10) day period to request additional information and documentation related to a request for reimbursement from Redeveloper, and such a request by the City shall have the effect of restarting the ten (10) day period upon receipt of all requested information. Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.
Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.
Project Engineer If the Project has been designed by the Project Engineer, the Project Engineer is to act as the Owner's representative, assumes all duties and responsibilities, and has the rights and authority assigned to Project Engineer in the Contract Documents in connection with completion of the Work all in accordance with the Contract Documents.
