Any employee absent without approved leave will may be subject to disciplinary action, and any employee absent without leave for threethree (3) consecutive days may be deemed to have resigned their employment, provided that the Employer may grant approval for leave subsequent to the unauthorized absence if the employee can conclusively establish to the Employer that the circumstances surrounding the absence and failure to request leave were beyond the employee’s control.
