Common use of Uniform Regulations Clause in Contracts

Uniform Regulations. 1. The Parties shall establish and implement, under their respective laws and regulations, on the date on which this Agreement enters into force and at any subsequent time, Uniform Regulations regarding the interpretation, application and administration of this Chapter, Chapter 3 (National Treatment and Market Access for Goods), Chapter 4 (Rules of Origin) and other matters as may be agreed by the Parties. 2. The Parties undertake to complete the negotiation of the Uniform Rules no later than 60 days after this Agreement is signed. 3. Once the Uniform Regulations come into effect, each Party shall implement any modification or addition thereto no later than 180 days after the Parties agree on such modification or addition, or such other period as the Parties may agree.
