Common use of UNION ORGANIZING Clause in Contracts

UNION ORGANIZING. Funding Recipient, by signing this Funding Agreement, hereby acknowledges the applicability of Government Code sections 16645 through 16649 to this Funding Agreement. Furthermore, Funding Recipient, by signing this Funding Agreement, hereby certifies that: A. No State funds disbursed by this Funding Agreement will be used to assist, promote, or deter union organizing. B. Funding Recipient shall account for State funds disbursed for a specific expenditure by this Funding Agreement to show those funds were allocated to that expenditure. C. Funding Recipient shall, where State funds are not designated as described in (b) above, allocate, on a pro rata basis, all disbursements that support the program. D. If Funding Recipient makes expenditures to assist, promote, or deter union organizing, Funding Recipient will maintain records sufficient to show that no State funds were used for those expenditures and that Funding Recipient shall provide those records to the Attorney General upon request.
